Vicente was born in Calama, Chile. Since a very young age, he developed a strong bond with the ocean and water, learning to swim at the age of 2 and starting to surf at the age of 5. He spent most of his life as a professional surfer, traveling around the world and competing in various events. Later, he embarked on a new journey as a surf coach, taking different courses and studying Sport Science to become a more well-rounded professional.
Chile is well known for the size and quality of its waves, which piqued Vicente’s interest in breath-hold training and freediving. He participated in several courses, such as the APNEA AND SURF SURVIVAL LEVEL 1 course in 2017 and LEVEL 2 in 2019, finally becoming certified as an Underwave Level 1 Instructor in 2023.
His goal is to learn various aspects of surfing so that he can pass on his knowledge to other surfers, enabling the surfing community to grow and evolve.
